Dimitri's room is the first release of Sare on Pizzico and he immediately shows off all his experience on italo disco and an accomplished taste.
Sare (real name: Jure Havlicek) is one of the pioneers of techno and electronic music in Slovenia, his group “Anna Lies” was one of the five bands that broke the ice in 1991 with the first ever techno gig in Slovenia. He worked with Dj Umek in a project called Hyperactive and after so many co-operations he joined Pizzico cause he loves our label's quality, and no doubt
we love Sare's style!
He uses to play all his tracks live: drums, synths, vocals in a real italo way, that was enough to join PizziCombo.
70's eurodisco, computer disco, early 80's synthesizers … all these elements in one man: Sare Havlicek, and in one release “Dimitri's Room” that we sincerely hope it will be the start of an amazing work for us and most of all Pizzico untiring
followers.

Ten is a magic number (top ten, tenth anniversary...)so label master Billy Bogus wanted to broach and celebrate Pizzico moods and sounds that (as every schizophrenic attitude imposes) always change...
This time is Billy's latest trip to New York City that influenced him so much, he walked in Big Apple darkest streets, from Manhattan to Queens and Brooklyn and he got fascinated by the most imposing scenario he probably saw in his life noticing as well that about 80% of noir romances he read and movies he saw are placed there, in the big black heart of the world.
So here comes this strange release made on slanting hip hop vibes and subpoenas but stuffed with italo and electric shots, it reminds of something like end of 90's ninja tune stuff... no doubt Pizzico is still looking forward... and back as well.
For the tenth Pizzico Nobel release Billy wanted his prestigious remixers, friends and co-operators Enzo Ponzio, Ichisan & Nakova and young hooded "Sanaleik" project, a couple of young beat bandits that like to re-edit and deconstruct everything with a special 90's taste.
Enzo's version sounds like a paranoid old fashioned underground tune, so deep and dirty; I&N's mix is like a fat and slow funk, at the top of their big talent.

Guests of this special and mystical night will be label founders Billy Bogus & Bonnes side by side with Albibello (from Yess! dj set) with his Dehlikate ambient project.

Bonnes will introduce his forthcoming single " War Dance", out the 24th November, a desolated mixture of original ambient and end of 90's post techno, an isolationist work that testifies once again how Bonnes don't like people:-)
His dj set, between 70s psychedelic & kraut, 80's prog rock and 90's ambient will open the night in the weirdest way you can imagine.

Then the super live act of Pip Carter Lighter Maker, the most psychedelic band in the world, just back from a mini tourné in Germany last month.

His natural bent for warm and trippy vibes leaded him to release stuff for many important labels, from Scenario to german Stereo Deluxe and Wave Music, producing cool sounds from moody bossa to finest downtempo with his main project called Ganesh (we can't forget his featuring in Milan' the sex, the city, the music’ distributed worldwide by EMI).
His tracks were selected from important italian radio stations in their own compilations as Radio Italia Network's Generation Cocktail, taking part in other so many project as the cd Vicenza's Victoria Club House vol.1.
Enzo is also a dj in demand: from Sicily to Milan, he played in so many clubs, joining also the Mtv Sunset Tour and being listed as one of the coolest dj by the famous italian magazine GQ. An eclectic and industrious bloke like this can't forget his passion for disco and modern feelings...
